Though many players have worn the Virakar tags, few have chosen to stick with Virakar. It is those few who we feel make up the "core" of Virakar, its heart, its soul.
The process for becomming core begins with a nomination by a core member. The nomination then goes through two votes: a vote by the elders and a vote by the core. If the nomination meets the requirements, and passes a vote by his or her peers, then the nomination passes and another member is welcomed into the core.
Core nominations that typically succeed have a few things in common. First, the nominees have shown dedication to the guild and have shown that they are likely to stay with the guild beyond one game, or have already done so. Second, they are people who have Virakar's ideals at heart. Finally, a common trait amongst core nominees is that they are respectful and mature contributors to the Virakar gaming communinty.
