- Members are to be dedicated and loyal to the guild for as long as they play with it. Any players who are found to have a character that conflicts with our goals or overall productiveness will be kicked out of the guild immediately.
- Information about our guild is not to be shared with others outside the guild. Watch what you say to others, even your close friends who are in other guilds. They and yourself may not think that it is important information, but their guild may see the importance of any information that they recieve. Likewise, account sharing with individuals outside of the guild is prohibited.
- Virakar members will use not any exploits or hacks to deviate from the intended gameplay experience of the developers. Any members who are found to be using any programs to ‘cheat’ will be kicked out of the guild immediately.
- Harassment of any kind is not tolerated. This includes players outside of the guild as well as within. Any member found to be harassing another player for any reason will be dealt with harsly.
- Flames, personal attacks, taunting, trolling, or any such behavior will not be acceptable actions by our members ingame and out of game. Respect for all players is important to remember. We are all here to have fun, therefore we need to treat others as we would like to be treated.
- All members will act in a mature manner. If members find that they can not act maturely in a situation they are to remove themselves from that situation immediately. This includes behavior towards individuals outside of the guild. If you wear our crest, you represent all of us. Ninja-looting and other immature actions reflect poorly on not only you but the guild as a whole.
- 'D00d speak' is not acceptable jargon for posting or ingame speak. Due to the fact that this form of internet communication is associated with a certain type of player, we need to stay away from it to retain the image that we want to portray to non-members.
- In guild related matters, the opinion of the guild is your opinion. Do not conflict the decisions of the guild in a public manner, we will have a place for disagreements within our own private forums.
- Arguing with members in public will not be tolerated. Use a private means for your disagreements to be worked out, such as PMs, tells, or private guild forums.
- Members should use their character name on public forums that they are using in game. Many players have multiple accounts all with different names. You must post on our forums as well as any others with the same name when flying our banner. This also helps slim down on any confusion that may occur. Anonymous posting and trolling is frowned upon.
- Guild members who design their own sigs must have them approved before they post them on the forums. This is to provide a standard so that we are presented in the same manner. It also makes our guild more noticeable to non-members.
- Being active on the message boards is needed to be part of this guild. While you do not have to be active every day, it is highly encouraged you check in several times a week.
- Every member regardless of rank is required to follow these protocols. Every member regardless of rank is required to follow the rules set out within each branch by the branch leader and IC, as well as the general policies set out by the elder council and the guild leader.
